There are over 34 times as many Nissan dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Leaf’s warranty.

Tires and Wheels
The Leaf has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.
Suspension and Handling
For better maneuverability, the Leaf’s turning circle is 2.8 feet tighter than the Polestar 4’s (35.4 feet vs. 38.2 feet).
Chassis
The Nissan Leaf may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 950 to 1000 pounds less than the Polestar 4.
The Leaf is 1 foot, 5.2 inches shorter than the Polestar 4, making the Leaf easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
The Leaf is 7.8 inches narrower than the Polestar 4, making the Leaf easier to handle and maneuver in traffic.
Cargo Capacity
The Leaf has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Polestar 4 with its rear seat up (20 vs. 18.6 cubic feet). The Leaf has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Polestar 4 with its rear seat folded (55.5 vs. 54.2 cubic feet).
Servicing Ease
A maintenance reminder system is standard on the Leaf to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for tire rotation, based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Polestar doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Polestar 4.
Ergonomics
To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Leaf has standard extendable sun visors. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer extendable visors.
The Leaf’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Polestar 4’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.
Compared to the Polestar 4, the Nissan Leaf eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its standard integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the driver’s seat.
The Leaf is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Polestar 4, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Leaf offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Polestar 4.
HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Leaf equipped with available HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Polestar 4, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Nissan Leaf empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.
The Leaf Platinum+ has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
